Every job starts with a clear quote before any work begins. Rates below cover labor only — materials and taxes are added separately and confirmed before you book. No hidden extras.
- Minimum service call—from $120 (covers the first 2 hours) + $60 for each additional hour
- Larger or well-defined jobs—like installing multiple interior doors or painting a room — get a fixed project price, quoted upfront
- Some jobs require a minimum of 2 people for heavy or complex work—rate adjusts when a helper is on site
- Travel beyond 30 km—added to your quote, confirmed before booking
- Moving help (2 movers + vehicle)—from $130/hour, 3-hour minimum
- Construction debris removal—from $215
Prices shown are for labor only, before GST/HST (13%) — materials are quoted separately based on your project.

The person behind Aurato
My name is Oleh Kaskiv, and I started Aurato with a simple goal: to provide homeowners with reliable handyman services they can count on.
Whether it’s a small repair, installing new fixtures, or tackling a larger home improvement project, I believe every job deserves the same level of care, attention to detail, and respect for your home.
Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with trusted trades across the GTA. The cost depends on the type of work, the materials, and the time required. After discussing your project or visiting the site if needed, we’ll provide a clear quote before any work begins.
The $120 minimum covers our time and travel for the first 2 hours on any job, so it applies across the board. What can flex is the rate itself — jobs needing a second person or extra travel are quoted upfront so there are no surprises.
Yes. Larger or well-defined jobs — like installing multiple interior doors or painting a room — get a fixed project price quoted upfront instead of billing by the hour.
Yes. We’ll take the time to understand your project, answer your questions, and provide a clear quote based on the work required.
A handyman visit is usually a few hours, while larger projects run longer depending on the scope. You get a timeline with your quote and an update whenever anything shifts.

We can supply everything, or install materials you have picked out yourself. Many clients choose their own finishes and leave the rest to us.
